Fuselight Dec 10, 2016I would love to see a place where I could enter a Google Analytics ID and have that show up on my profile and item pages in the form of the standard tracking code so that I could analyze traffic better.
The ability to see how many visitors I get vs. number of buyers as well as the referrers for a specific page would be invaluable data to use when marketing my items.
Envato typically reserves this feature specifically for their elite users (much to the annoyance of many authors). Setting this up here would hopefully be and easy and great way to help authors when they need it most instead of using it as a reward for those who are already accomplished. -
We do want to support Google Analytics in the future. But we are still working things out.
Our main focus is now on the Codester stats like you already described
At the moment the authors don't have much stats to see how their products are performing. Stats like view, sales and conversion rates are essential we think.
We will be rolling out the first improvements within the next two months.
Many thanks for feedback btw

Fuselight Dec 12, 2016Indeed! Thank you the fast reply. If I may add that a referral URL for page views is critical as well. Knowing where traffic is coming from could lead back to a favorable mention from a blog (or an unfavorable one that needs attention) or figuring out if SEO from other parts of the web is paying off.
Sounds great on the roll out, can't wait to see it!
