No sale

I uploaded many items but no any sales in long time. If I need to promote the product by myself maybe I do on my own website even better.
Why have to sell on this? I had hoped it would sell as Enavto.

I see a lot of plugins for Virtuemart and a lot of very specific products that people won't buy as impulse purchases, but through very specific search queries.
With such products you rely a lot on Google searches. To get your products ranking high in Google will require time and a few links to your page will help. This will take a few months.

Why promote through Codester instead of promoting your own website? I see you are your settings up your own marketplace So it looks like you got the software ready!

Like already mentioned your products will probably get most sales through Google traffic. Paid traffic is a good way to find out the right keywords, but chances are this is too expensive to make it profitable. That leaves you with Organic traffic on the long run. You can now promote your products on your shop and start lnikbuilding until your domain reaches a nice DA score, but this will be quite an investment.

Codester is already top ranked on many searches on Google. Just few links to your item's page should be enough to get some good organic traffic through Google. A lot of authors have been in this same place as you are right now and are now getting good sales.


Other reasons to choose for Codester instead of you own website:

I've uploaded 4 product app templates but got only 4 sales as of now. There are so many views being generated but the conversion rate is very low as compared to views and other app marketplaces.

Can you guide as should we continue selling on codester or other app marketplaces that generate good sales.

The conversation rates on Codester are not lower then on other marketplaces. They are actually higher then most marketplaces out there. One of the reasons is that views are filtered on other marketplaces and not on Codester. For example if somebody browses your item's pages this will count as several views. We will be adjusting this as the view data is not very useful at the moment.

We will be adding filtering soon, so then the conversation rates will go up
