What does Featured Product actually do?

    In the user settings there is a featured item bit! What does it actually do because i cant see an area that is for the authors own featured item!

    It currently taken down for now.
    It is for highlighting one of your products as featured product. It will show up as first on your profile etc. We are bringing it back
