multiscraper Jun 16, 2018Hello, Codester community and Codester team!
*LINK REMOVED*
so my question is: can we do something with this webresource?
because i'm sure that when codester.com send the promotion with the "free files of the week" it does not mean that anyone can collect these files and then open the website and distribute them
any thoughts?
thank you all for your attention, have a nice weekend! This post has been last edited at 2018-06-16 22:03:25 -
You are absolutely correct. It is illegal to publish any item you received from Codester also free files.
We are currently taking action against several of these pirate sites.
Also if you want to help out, there are a few things you can do.
- Contact the seller and ask to remove the files.
- Contact the hosting company of the seller and submit a DMCA Takedown form
- Submit a DMCA takedown to Google to remove it from the search results: https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905?hl=en
Hopefully we can minimize piracy.

multiscraper Jun 17, 2018hello
Frederick, thank you very much for the reply
>>>> Also if you want to help out, there are a few things you can do.
the first one already done, but it is senselessly, as you can see the seller is the founder of this website
today i will try the DMCA takedown
I already mentioned about one thing earlier but will try one more time here:
It will be greatful if you allow sellers to upload free modules at the codester.com (or ability to make it free for some time to promote).
Sellers will be able to promote their extensions by themselves, or upload the trial versions, and codester.com in its turn will get the traffic increasing at the expense of these extensions
Please, at least consider such ability in the roadmap
thank you -
You can try getting the hosting details and contact the hosting party.
Many thanks for the feedback.
