Codester market item selling very slow

Codester Developer not working to develop their market.

I can see within the last 2/3 month there have not sold any item. their marketing Codester have to increase their marketing plan.

There any author got sell within the last 2/3 month ???

i did, and i saw someone else selling to, at logos

okay, those items are graphics related. but template/theme/plugin totally stoppable sell.

not really. usually the items that have the popular tag on them have sales in the last month

Many people are able to sell their work successfully on Codester.

Theme sales are higher then graphic sales.
If you are in a category with a lot of competition. For example Themes, it is highly recommended to do some marketing to get the first sales and reviews.
This will help getting more people view your work. If there are are other similar themes with good reviews it is likely that most people choose the once with the good review.

I know it is an old thread. We accept that 30% will be paid to Codester. However, these monies are paid for work that Codester do to promote sales. I wondered, just exactly what does Codester do in order to improve on sales? Do you advertise on Google Adwords and Facebook Ads? Do you have banners via eBay and Amazon? Do you actively promote affiliate schemes through services such as AffiliateJunction?

Is there any transparency reporting on the monies spent monthly/yearly on advertising, versus the income streams?

From the above comments, it does seem on the face of it that advertising is made to be the responsibility of the coders, which does seem unfair considering the 30% deductions.

Codester does a lot the marketing work for the sellers and many items have a great revenue because of this, but this does not work for all items. This can be because there is a lot of competition on the marketplace for that specific product or that the item has a very specific niche that people do not search for on Codester. If that is the case, it could require marketing from the authors side to improve sales.
