Refferrals and how they reflect on my earnings?

Today I saw in my dashboard that I have 1 refferal sale right below my total sold amount. It says Refferals 1/10 and Affiliate Level 1. Only I don't see it reflected on my statement as revenue. How does the affiliate system works. The amount I earn is calculated at en of the month?

Referrals are the number of users who have signed up after using one of your referral links. It does not reflect the number of sales made, but only signed up.
Any referral sales are directly added to your account.

Its means 1 person signed up using your referal link en 10 referals are needed to earn a level 2 referal badge.
