Having SEO meta tags on your wordpress site is important, but it's a time consuming task that often gets forgotten. This plugin connects with Google's free Gemma 3 API to ask it to write them, checks if your posts are missing any essential seo meta tags, and adds them to your pages if they're missing.

Beyond your Wordpress site, you will need to follow the instructions to get a free API key from Google (to do this you need a Google account).

Go to your Wordpress Admin dashboard and choose "Add New Plugin", then "Upload Plugin" and upload the zip file.

Once installed an activated go to Settings -> Header Magic.

In the settings you will find a link to get an API key from Google AI studio (it's free but will require a Google account). Follow the instructions and paste the API key you got from Google into the API key field in the plugin Settings.

From there you could click "Save" and be working. But there are also some options to choose from if you want to. If you are unsure what they mean it is best to leave them at default.

Generate Meta Keywords - by default is checked and will ask the AI to generate a meta keywords tag.

Generate Meta Description - by default is checked and will ask the AI to generate a meta description tag.

Override Existing Tags - by default is unchecked. If you check it then the plugin will remove any existing meta tags it is creating and replace them with its own AI versions.

Output Meta Description - by default is checked. Adds a meta description tag.

Output Twitter Cards - by default is checked. Adds twitter card tags.

Output Open Graph - by default is checked. Adds Open Graph tags.

Output Article Schema - by default is checked. Adds an article schema.

Schema Author Override - by default the plugin uses the post author name for the article schema. If you want to set a name to apply globally then enter it here.

Schema Organization Name - by default the plugin uses the site name for the schema. If you want to override this globally, set it here.

Schema Publisher Logo - by default the plugin uses the site logo for the schema. You can override it here.
