  At first you need to download zip file, and than open it. In codester-zip-file there be 3 folders. You need to open "theme" folder. When you open "theme" folder, you need to copy the oldschool.zip file to your PC, and install theme from wordpress. The css file is in theme folder.

  I know the answer to your question, but I can’t give it how to remove the block with copyright. The fact is that all the icons were taken from the flaticon.com site, but according to the copyright of this site, I must somewhere indicate that all the icons were taken from this site. And if you go to the Flaticon license page in the footer of the site, you will see a table where I painted where each of the icons were taken from.
  
  According to the WordPress code, footer links don’t transfer weight at all, and don’t worry that the site’s weight will leak to other sites. All of these links have the attribute rel = "nofollow"

  You see, the fact is that the date and year are shown to those users who do not have the right to register (indicated in the settings of the site by the administrator). If users have the right to register, then there will simply be 2 options: login and registration. And when a person logs into the site with his username, then “Login” turns into “Logout”, and “Registration” into “Site Management”. These are functions that were not invented from the head, these are pure WordPress functions.
  
  To remove these blocks, you need to go to the admin panel - appearance - theme editor. In the theme files, select the "template parties" folder -> header -> header top -> meta site, and simply delete the block

  I forgot to say that he is still connecting that block through Java Script. If you resize windows from the desktop version to the mobile one and vice versa, the block with login and registration will jump from block to block. I did not create 2 identical blocks. If you remove this block, then the whole javascript will break.

  with the Pro version, can i have more control ? Change the header layout ? remove Date and log in pages from the header......Control the Meta info and whether to show it or not ?

  There is no PRO version. If you want to control post styles, site width and sidebars you can change it in appearance - customize. PLZ ask a question. what exactly doesn’t suit in the length of the site, in the sidebars, in the header, and in the block with comments?
