  How does parallax effect work? Can I upload layered .PSD or layered image file with .zip then it's showing those layer as parallax effect?

  find below lines in AndroidManifest.xml and remove it's from there

  Yes you can change existing image to your own images
  Images stored offline in assets folder of app code you can add new or replace any images
