3 months agoHi Legibe,
As you may be able to see, I have purchased your Two-Factor Authentication script in the past - I still use it with great pleasure to this day!
Now that my website has been further developed (partly with the help of your other script), I am looking for new features to implement. One of these is that companies on the platform can accept payments without my intervention (I currently process all payments myself, and have to manually pay each company their turnover). I am convinced that this script is a great solution for my problem, but I want to be sure whether it is possible to collect or add a percentage or fixed amount for each payment so that the customer pays it.
Example 1: company X sells a product of 20 euros via my platform and the customer pays 22 euros, 20 euros goes to the Stripe account of company X and 2 euros goes to me as the platform owner.
Example 2: company Y sells a product of 20 euros through my platform (in this example the customer also pays 20 euros) and 18 euros goes to the Stripe account of company Y, the remaining 2 euros goes to me as the platform owner.
Thank you in advance!

3 months agolegibe Authorhi teun!
thank you for your purchase of the other script!
you could definitely automatize all those transactions using this script.
and yes, you can define how you want to apply fees the way you want (fixed rate, percentage, fix + percentage, define a minimum/maximum amount etc) and then when your payment is received, define how much of the paid amount goes to the platform (your website) and to the seller, or even to an affiliate for instance.
which means that for a product that is sold 20 euros, you can either:
- charge more to cover/add the platform fees
- deduce them from what you send to the seller
depending on your business model.
you could even define a given fixed rate/percentage of fees for each of your sellers, if you want, to lower the fees for your best sellers for instance.
i just strongly encourage you to document yourself and understand clearly the difference between this script, made for "stripe connect express accounts" and another one i've made (and sell on a different platform) for "custom accounts", to be sure that you go with what matches your needs (and ressources, because the "custom accounts" script requires a lot more integration time/effort) the best.
hope this helps! -
3 months agoAwesome, thank you for the clarification and additional information. I will have to compare the custom vs express accounts on the Stripe documentation, once I made my decision I will definitely purchase the script (this one, or the one located elsewhere - I already know the platform you sell it on so that won’t be an issue). 🙂

3 months agolegibe Authorsounds great!
if you have more questions, please don't hesitate!
and you can also contact me for a discount if you go with the "custom accounts" script on the other platform.
have a good end of week

Sep 8, 2023legibe Authori've made another version of this script that i sell on codecanyon, and they didn't accept this one. the difference between the two is that :
- this one uses "express" accounts; for the onboarding process of your sellers, they will be redirected to stripe's website, and will go back to your website once they're done
- the other script uses "custom" accounts; the whole onboarding process happens on your own website, your sellers will stay on your website, everything is "white labeled". it's important to understand that it requires a lot more development to do this, hence the highest price. -
Sep 11, 2023kudosta PurchasedThanks for your great answers Legibe.. So if I want to go with custom account, does that script has subscription payment integration instructions or an option to make one payment time to subscriptions ?
-
Sep 11, 2023legibe Authoryou're welcome!
the two scripts only differ with the way the onboarding process is being taken care of. the payments/refunds/listing parts are the same on both, so no, it doesn't include subscriptions in the example, but my offer to guide you through this for an hour stands for both.
