  1) select list_new_record_button from gnl_menu where menu_id = 10
  
  "list_new_record_button" column value should be "1" to see add new button in top-right of List of Users page

  I mean execute this sql "select list_new_record_button from gnl_menu where menu_id = 10" on database you will see . And change "list_new_record_button" column to "1".

  Yes you are right. The field "is_administrator" should be set manualy on DB by System Administrator.
  
  Because you can add any role's user as a administrator. Also you can delete "administrator" role and give "is_administrator" user from different group.
  
  I mean "System Administrator" should set "is_administrator" true manualy on db.

  Ozgur, I upload project to web hosting. I have to login in order to receive email notifications. Basicly I wont be aware of the tasks not completed on time unless I login the page.

  For e-mail notifications (only "not completed on time" ) there is no job or windows service to send e-mail. When anybody (not only you) login or call main page the page all of them sending.
  
  When you search below methods you will see.
  
  HomeControl/Index/
  
  SendTaskExpireNotification() and TaskMailSend() methods create notification and send e-mail ..

  On DB in "gnl_menu" field "show_colums" you can give any order for colums .
  
  Eample : show_columns = "order_id, task_name, task_status_name,start_date, end_date,task_owner, assigned_user_name,is_active"
  
  if you want to "is_active"is yor first column change order ,
  
  show_columns = "is_active,order_id, task_name, task_status_name,start_date, end_date,task_owner, assigned_user_name"

  open gnl_menu , find your menuand get "object name" (mostly a view) and find view on DB.
  And open view on design type and change 'Active' or 'Passive'
  
  to change left menu name , in "gnl_menu" find menu and change "name" column ..

  If you purchase this application with source code you can add and change this application (Task Management ) using C# , MVC Framework.
  
  But ASP.NET (.aspx Web Form) and MVC Framework (.cshtml) can not combine together. So your application must be MVC , C# application. And you may be change database objects . I think you can use bootstrap .

  Open database and list "gnl_menu" datas. Find column menu_id = 10 and name = 'Users' row.
  
  And Update "list_new_record_button = 1" . Therefore you can see "New Record" button on the top of the users list page.
  
  Therefore You can add new user record .
  
  Or execute sql below.
  
  "update gnl_menu set list_new_record_button=1 where menu_id = 10"

  I customized both program and db. In order to upload project to hosting , How can I create new "scriptanddata.sql" ? (Hosting don't allow me to restore db via .bak file or other ways. Only choice seems like uploading script.)

  Firstly you should execute table , view , sp , function scripts on the new database (hosting) which is in "scriptanddata.sql".
  
  And then you should generate insert scripts for your new data . You can search with google to find "Generating SQL Insert Scripts" .

  And then run insert scripts (data) on new database (hosting)
  
  This is only sample you can reseach any other "Insert Generated Script"

  Ozgur, dates are shown 1 hour behind..I create task it shows 1 hour before at notification area. Also mails are coming same way. I think time is stored at "task_date" . How to fix this issue?

  When task status changed or task completed or task date expired an e-mail is sent to asiggned and created users.
  
  You have to add an e-mail settings to web.config.

  Subject was added hard coded to the project.
  
  "TaskMailSend" method is located in "Dcm\EntityModels\TaskReporsitory.cs" class.
  
  You should search "TaskMailSend" in the project.
  
  Example:
  
  TaskMailSend(task.assigned_user_id, task.order_id.ToString(), task.task_name, task.task_id, "Task Status Change", "", "Rejected", "1";
  
  In this example "Task Status Change" is "Subject" (string title)

  I was testing your live demo sample and I fou
  nd out if I login the "Manager", the page is only showing the calendar. Even when I adjust its role's authorization in Admin page, it shows no effect at all on "Manager" role.

  You can add users to "Manager" Roles.
  
  Settings->Roles->Manager
  I have added "demo manager" user to Roles . Now you can test and control.
  
  You can also add new users and Items to "Roles".
