4 months agowebmodk AuthorAnd you use nodejs +16? Can you send screenshot via. the message system e.g. of the directory setup etc.
-
4 months agoCasper1 Purchasedwell ive tried running a nodejs instance on 16+ but i guess i'm not sure on what path i should set.
-
4 months agowebmodk AuthorSent you a pm. Sounds like its a setup issue.

4 months agoSubgrounds PurchasedI have some issues with the installation of this script. All files are uploaded to my server and I created a .htaccess file to point to the /public/ folder. I entered the correct database information in the .env file and generated a random app key from some website. At this point I only need to install the database tables, but when I go to /setup-project/, I get the following message: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version ">= 8.2.0".
I have PHP 8.1 installed on my server and I read in the documentation that PHP 8.1 should work. I tried editing some values in composer.json and composer.lock, but that doesn't work.
Any ideas? -
4 months agowebmodk AuthorHi Subgrounds. Yes, in the composer file where you see "php": "^8.2" replace it with this: "php": "^8.1|^8.2" – if you want to setup-project make sure to have deleted the file installed in storage directory. (if it exists-else ignore this)

5 months agoSubgrounds PurchasedI'm very interested in this script, but I'm missing one feature. The ability to add images in blog posts. An image button in the WYSIWYG editor, where you can upload images. So you can have multiple images in the blog post content area. Is this something you can add in the next update? I will certainly buy the script then.

5 months agowebmodk AuthorHej @Subgrounds, Thank you.
The RichEditor already have image-upload included in the system, but it's hidden in the demo since everyone can login. Have a great day!
-
5 months agoWhy isn't there an add product button?
-
5 months agowebmodk AuthorBecause here on codester it's only a 'read-only' preview. It's only applies for the demo-domain and of course it's available once purchased

6 months agozerros24 PurchasedI don't understand how to install it:
https://webmodk.notion.site/Introduction-setup-dc560fb3a73745458524175d9bab186e
/setup-project/ folder doesn't even exist. Why aren't there easier setup options? - View 2 more replies

6 months agowebmodk Author1. You should generate your own env key via the terminal: php artisan key:generate
2. Also make sure that you symlink your public storage folder: php artisan storage:link -
6 months agozerros24 PurchasedWhat?
Why isn't something like this in the documentation? Should the script be simple? Without console knowledge you are lost...
When I go to /public/ and try to generate a new key I get another error message "Something went wrong. Please try refreshing the page and try again." and on the left it says "No application encryption key has been specified." what's that supposed to mean? Why can't you create a simple setup file for non-experts? I can't recommend the script at all. Others are much easier, just upload everything, configure DB data, install, done. Here it is not the case. -
6 months agowebmodk AuthorThis is releated to how Laravel works – you can always check out their documentation for more details about their framework.
I'm here to help you. Sorry to hear that you are having issues: As mention: You're missing a key in your .env file.
E.g add:
APP_KEY=base64:3Vl6cs4Mtj93Vcwj3OvuzaoQS3MLUOO7rCv5rhx1834=
Also change your development mode by adding in your .env file:
APP_DEBUG=true
This will tell you exactly what "something went wrong" means.

6 months agoI was interested in getting this product for $30 yesterday 03/09/24 and a day later my surprise is that it is now worth $50. Well, good luck.
-
6 months agowebmodk AuthorThank you very much for your interest in my product. I understand your surprise regarding the price change. The price adjustment was necessary because, after accounting for fees and other costs on Codester, the profit margins were quite low. This change ensures I can continue to offer quality products.
-
6 months agoThat seems perfect to me. And I hope the climb goes well for you. But understand my surprise when I went to make the payment. All the best.
-
6 months agowebmodk AuthorI'll be updating the package with a search modal this week.
Thank you very much. Have a great weekend
-
6 months agoNice script, cool design, you might want to add SEO friendly titles (between title tags in header) for Blog section. And a search form.
Otherwise, GLWS
I just might buy it... - View 1 more reply

6 months agoAwesome, and I'll seriously think about buying it
Also, for affiliates with hundreds of products it might be cool, if you implement also a filtering feature (e.g. new, popular, lowest price, etc.).
Take care! -
6 months agoouch, this higher price is a deal breaker for me, as I was just about to buy it. Thanks anyway.
-
6 months agowebmodk AuthorThank you very much. I've added the search product feature.
I might consider adding product filtering later on. Have a great weekend.

7 months agoCongratulations on the project!
Suggestion:
- Integrate Amazon Affiliate.
- Integrate Awin.
It will add more value to the tool. -
7 months agowebmodk AuthorHey @eduardofiorini, thanks for the insightful feedback! Just to shed some light on the matter, in order to request access to utilize the Amazon Affiliate PA API, individuals need to meet specific criteria at Amazon's Partner program:
- Complete 3 qualifying sales in 180 days.
- Have an approved associate account.
- Comply with the associates program Operating Agreement.
While this requirement might not be feasible for every user, I'll definitely consider integrating the feature for buyers who have access. Your input is valuable, and I appreciate you bringing it up.
- I'll also keep Awin in mind, although it might be a bit further down the line in terms of implementation. Thanks for bringing it up!
