4 weeks agoNeelWonder PurchasedHi,
If you are working on an update to Laravel Framework 11, and if your development has not progressed too far, I would like to draw your attention that YOU STOP USING JQUERY ENTIRELY!
JQuery is too outdated.
Laravel Framework has a built-in support of Livewire. There are number of stacks ready made available on Livewire. Plus it is not at all difficult to (learn and) design on it. Changing from jQuery---> Livewire is equally easy.
You may simply need to generate some components with artisan and make necessary changes in blade templates. Rest of the coding can be transferred easily to scripts under the Livewire directory.

4 weeks agoNeelWonder PurchasedHi,
If you develop a subdomain feature, that would be great. The reason is also legal. If one has subdomains, it becomes important to give a link to that vendors imprint page for seperating legal liability reasons. This means a seller should publish his address on that imprint page under that subdomain. The link of this imprint should be published everywhere such that every buyer knows that he buys from that particular vendor.
AliExpress and Amazon has that.
Sure, this can be achieved even without a subdomain feature under a subdirectory or a seperate URI. But having a seperate subdomain makes everything easier because the session cookies could be set accordingly.
Most developed countries require a clarity on the aspect of liability as well as VAT on sale of goods, in particular where the buyers are based. So if one is based in India and the other in USA, the subdomain feature makes the liability as well as VAT problem plus currency very clear.
Thanking you. -
