Jul 27, 2020Nara1 PurchasedI wonder what the benefit of exporting to HTML is. Is it possible that the code still work without the plugin installed ?

Jul 30, 2020aluka47 AuthorHi Nara1,
If you deactivated the plugin, you must include the "ba-plus.min.css" file to header.php file
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://www.zoomcamera.net/wp-content/plugins/ba-plus-before-after-image-slider/css/ba-plus.min.css">
And include the "ba-plus.min.js" file to footer.php file
<script src="https://www.zoomcamera.net/wp-content/plugins/ba-plus-before-after-image-slider/js/ba-plus.min.js">

Jul 30, 2020Nara1 PurchasedBut do i still need to have the plugin installed ? What if in the future i remove the plugin, will all my slides broken ?
-
Jul 30, 2020aluka47 AuthorYou can upload the file "ba-plus.min.css" and the file "ba-plus.min.js" to another location
Eg:
https://www.zoomcamera.net/ba-plus.min.css
https://www.zoomcamera.net/ba-plus.min.js
Then you can remove the plugin safely.

Jun 23, 2020wazmac PurchasedHi,
I recently purchased BA Plus, and it works very well.
One question though - Is there a trick to getting the slider to align in the centre of the page in Wordpress > Twenty Seventeen theme?
Even though I have aligned it in the centre of the page (and the page source shows text-align: center it still aligns left?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Warren -
Jun 23, 2020wazmac PurchasedI have fudged it for now by embedding the slider in a single cell table, the same size as the slider (500px), and centring the table.
-
Jun 23, 2020aluka47 AuthorI'm glad that issue is resolved, I will update the alignment feature in the next version.

Jun 12, 2020Hello, love this plugin, it's the one I was looking for! but I got only one issue with this, the images are showing perfectly in the slider preview area but after adding the shortcode in the page the image size is showing in the square ratio, very zoomed and blurry image, even I try the full-width checkbox but still it's not showing the same dimensions as the image in the page preview but only in the slider preview. I attached the screenshots below for your ref. please help!!! thank you!

Jun 12, 2020aluka47 AuthorIf the shortcode doesn't work inside your theme, the problem might actually be in your theme itself.
Could you please send me the url to your slider? I'll check it out. -
Jun 12, 2020thanks for your quick response!
here's the link of the page https://visionmill.net/services/ the slider is added at the end of the page!
I hope you can help, looking forward to your reply! thank you -
Jun 12, 2020aluka47 AuthorI checked it, my plugin cannot retrieve your images with full size, this is the reason for blurry image, I think my plugin conflicts with your theme or other existing plugins.
You can try deactivate all other plugins or change current theme, if you still got the error then please send your admin panel url + username + password to https://www.codester.com/messages/?user=aluka47 , I'll check it out.

May 30, 2020liquid PurchasedHi Aluka. Slider is working well. I have a problem on the website that I have never had before. It doesn't show up in page speed tests. My ISP and the web host have been unable to duplicate it. But the first time a person goes to the site, the page takes a very long time to arrive. 22 seconds. After that, the pages come in under 3 seconds.
Is there anything during an initial load of a site, from your code, that might contribute to a one-time delay? Would you have any other tips or pointers? It's at https://liquidvisual.ca/demo/ -
May 30, 2020liquid PurchasedMy current suspect is plugin Gutenberg Blocks – Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg, about which some users say:
» Versatile plugin but it loads a LOT of JS even if the blocks are not used ...
and there is some discussion about "Does this plugin slow down your site".
I was using only one of the plugins in that package, Posts Timeline.
But my "View Source" pages are full of new code when even just that one plugin in the package is enabled.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-recommended-for-truly-performance-oriented-users/
It has been hard to track down the problem, as it only occurs as one arrives at the website, not during subsequent page calls. -
May 31, 2020aluka47 AuthorI think this problem is from your server, it takes 2.71 seconds to load your page in my country, there may be some slow PHP scripts from your theme , you should use a cache plugin to load faster.

May 31, 2020liquid Purchasedthanks. I am starting site all over. initial page took 28 seconds to load this morning, even with Gutenburg blocks disabled.
No one should take this thread as a concern about BA Slider!

May 21, 2020brighterimagelab PurchasedIs there any way to have the code output the actual alt tag of the image from the WordPress media instead of outputting the label text as the alt tag?
-
May 22, 2020aluka47 AuthorHi, I have updated the new version, you can use alt tag from WordPress media or use label as alt tag for image.
-
May 22, 2020brighterimagelab PurchasedThank you so much! That did it!

May 23, 2020aluka47 AuthorGlad to hear that!

May 7, 2020liquid PurchasedHi. I am extremely pleased with plugin, trying to decide between your two licenses.
All is going well, unless I add links to images using the plugin "Gallery Custom Links". Then the overflow.hidden doesn't work on the images any more. They shrink to stay inside the wipe.
Can you advise on css or other mod to keep your excellent plugin working while using Gallery Custom Links to add links to the images?
So far, your plugin is excellent except for being able to add images that have links added using Gallery Custom Links. The links are important to how we want to use Before And After Image Slider. - View 23 more replies

May 15, 2020liquid PurchasedThank you. I don't thing the problem is that there is inline code. I think the problem is how it's done. But let me check out your newer version, that message may be irrelevant.

May 19, 2020liquid PurchasedI checked the latest verson of content-cover.php. It displayed an existing slider fine, but when I reduced the browser window size and made it vertical, the right hand image appeared again below the two images in the slider, as if sliding out from under them.
My version is working just fine. I will sort out the visibility issues with the cover template overlay and it will be perfect. Thank you! -
May 19, 2020liquid PurchasedNow setting Cover overlay opacity to 90% (max) and using
.opacity-90 {
opacity: 1!important;
}
.has-post-thumbnail .opacity-90 {
opacity: 0!important;
}
to make siders visible if there is no featured image on a page using the cover template.

May 7, 2020Hi I just downloaded the plug-in and tried to put two images in a slider. They look fine in the preview/shortcode generator but as soon as I put the shortcode and preview the post it is blurry. Am I doing something wrong?

-
May 7, 2020So it sounds like the plug-in is using a thumbnail instead of the full size image. can this be changed in the text editor?
-
May 7, 2020aluka47 AuthorMy plugin can not change image size. Maybe your website has a default image size setting of 636px, you need to modify it in your site settings.
-
May 8, 2020aluka47 AuthorI found the cause, Jetpack plugin has a auto-resizing feature, I added srcset attribute to the images to fix it, you can check it by downloading the new (FREE) version here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/ba-plus-before-after-image-slider-free/
Sorry for the inconvenience.

May 5, 2020Jasper1 PurchasedI got my preview slider to show the way I like, but when I apply the shortcode, html, or PHP code, I just get the before image duplicated and stacked on top of the After image
-
May 5, 2020aluka47 AuthorHi Jasper1,
Could you please send me the url to your slider?
-
Apr 14, 2020One more thing, just for your information. Before trying your plugin, I thought your plugin was a malware plugin or something like this. Simply because the author name shows _______ which is very uncommon for a plugin. So I didn't install it at the beginning, until I found it's awesome So I'd advise you putting a real name there, more people would install it
