  1. No it doesn't. It uses the Free version of Google CSE API to display the results, please see the demo for further clarification. It might get feature updates but it will always receive bug fixes, assuming Google keeps the API alive and free.
  
  2. No, as I said earlier, it uses Google's CSE Free API which renders the results using JavaScript on the browser.

  This is not a security issue. Someone tried to search this on your site and it simply logged the query. All queries are stripped down and escaped before logging. Don't worry.

  Hello and thanks for a great script.
  I have found a bug. When searching for example "set chmod to 775" there are some "quick answers" at the top.
  
  The link of the "read more" goes to the local server host.com/share/
  It would be great if you could inform how to fix this.

  Hello, unfortunately that is not a bug of the script. The script only renders the "instant answer" like data from the rich snippets of the search results. Some site provide a valid URL and some doesn't, in this case they aren't providing the actual URL anymore.
  
  Anyway, I will see if I can do anything to "fix" this. Although this data is provided by Google only and we can only display what they provide.
  
  If I find a fix for this, I will let you know.

  Sorry but there's no such way. The results are rendered by Google themselves, using their own JavaScript, so we can't accomplish something like that. This is a limitation set by Google.

  I mean i see you use javascript q = htmlEntities(q); to see if the query its not found and you return the no found text, so how can we use this to make it move to another url with another engine more than to just throw error. Meaning if empty show the result with next engine (next tab) like this https://example.com/query&engine=3

  That's just way of displaying the no result text, what I meant is there is no method to switch to another engine using the CSE API. You can use something like:
  
  window.location.href = 'http://YOURURLHERE';
  
  in the callback method to redirect to another page.

  That is different because those links are rendered by the script and has different event handlers attached to them via different selectors. Those links are triggered by clicks.

  No, this ID is your engine ID, I mean the ID you see on your browser URL.
  
  For example:

  Here you see the engine=1
  
  So the engine ID for the Web is 1

  Make sure you have replaced the file properly at:
  site/themes/default/assets/js/app.js
  
  Then clear your browser cache. The change is working perfectly on my side. If you replace the file properly the same should show up on your end as well unless because of browser cache.
  
  Press CTRL+SHIFT+R for a hard reload on chrome/firefox.

  All the JS is in the app.js. There's no how to guide for this, you need to have knowledge in the CSE api and it's callbacks to learn to modify or customize it. It's not possible for me to provide line by line specifications.
  
  Any further customization needs to be done by you or a developer that you hire. Please stop bothering me regarding customization as I'm studying for my exam. Thanks.

  I will support this as long as Google keeps their CSE/Programmable Search Engine service alive and free for public.
  
  Yes the demo and the script itself uses Google CSE. You don't see the links because it renders the links using custom JS callbacks.

  No, you need to create separate CSE's for different types of engines. Otherwise you will get the same results.
  
  The "engines" are CSE's with specific site added to them:
  For example, the Torrent engine searches sites like:
  1337x.to piratebay.com etc
  
  The video engine searches sites like: youtube.com vimeo.com dailymotion.com
  
  So create an engine and limit them to specific list of sites to create a "topic" based search.

  Sessions are not starting on your server. This could happen for numerous reasons.
  - Make sure sessions are not disabled by your provider or by you in php.ini
  - Make sure "src/var/sessions" this directory exists and is writable CHMOD 777.

  Okay I got it, it's happening because your hosting has "mod_pagespeed" enabled. Which is rewriting the URLs to the CSS/JS on mobile browsers. See: https://prnt.sc/26enk9k
  
  It should just be the styles.css file.
  
  Please disable "mod_pagespeed" from your hosting or ask your hosting provider to disable it. This module is breaking the script in mobile version.

  The query parameter temporarily disables it, but to fix it you need to disable in from your server's end.
