  It's seems it's okay right now. Everything is working fine. The script will serve whatever protocol you use to access the site automatically.

  I don't really understand what you mean, but I'm assuming you want to search your tube site instead of YouTube? In that case you can create an CSE with your site URL and use that as Video engine's ID. But you can't sort the results to prioritize your own site. It all depends on Google. We have no control over it.

  The frontend itself can be translated to various languages. You can check the RTL mode by : https://based.mirazmac.com/preferences going here and changing the language to Arabic. That should give you an idea of how the RTL layout will look.

  Yes you can translate it, but you'd have to do it by editing the language file manually. For example copying the en_US folder and then renaming to your own language code. Then editing the English text.

  Your MySQL versions is lower than 5.7. Thus it's limiting the UNIQUE key length. You can either upgrade your MYSQL version. Or temporarily use this SQL file(with lower key length):

  Those strings were for the original framework that had these features.
  
  1. For the contact form to appear, the page slug must be "contact-us".
  
  2. The search ads aren't controlled by the script itself. The script renders Google's Programmable Search codes as is. So, if it's not being displayed it means Google isn't showing any. However the ads are hidden using CSS by default. You can turn this hiding off by going to: Dashboard > Engines and clicking "Edit" on each engines and enable the option "Display Search Ads"
  
  3. All search engines are Google CSE engines. The difference is the video/news engines has sites limited to them. For example, to create a video search engine you need to create a new CSE and add the sites like:
  youtube.com
  vimeo.com
  For news, bbc.com etc.
  
  4. All templates are located at: sitethemesdefaultviews
  They are accurately named and have comments in them, you can open and edit them.

  Sorry but as far from hiding the ads using CSS, we have no control over the layout or the ads rendering, as the script uses JavaScript API, which is rendered by Google themselves via the client side.
  
  I don't really have list built in. These engines are meant to be customized by the buyer, thus I didn't want to impose a default list.
  
  The preferences in the canvas menu should be in the en_US.php file.
  
  But the search results, again, this can't be done. As we don't have access to those in the server side. However you can change the language of the CSE from the CSE Dashboard. That should translate those values.

  That can't be done. The script uses the free version of the Google CSE API. Which is free and doesn't have any limit. But this comes with the fact that you can't have such level of control over the search results.
  
  And the paid edition which is server side(not compatible with the script) is way too costly, starting at 5$ per 1k queries.

If I could I would've just told you how to. The showing of ads in the public URL could be something else added by Google themselves.

  1. I don't understand what do you mean by adding search log in the backend. It's already present in the backend and they are dynamically added to the sitemap as soon as they are logged. There are no issues of adding faster here. The sitemaps are spliced into multiple pages for better crawlability that's all.
  
  2. Open file:
  src/controllers/Site/SiteController.php
  
  Inside the file find the search() method, inside this method you will see code like this:

  You can change the 'title' to your own preferred title. And add

  3. Updates are mostly performed by replacing changed files. There's no major updates released yet. When they are released you wlll be notified by Codester.
  
  4. Currently Google CSE doesn't provide any API for that. I've looked into other free options but they are limited or not up to the standard. So I was unable to implement this feature. I tried to add every possible feature when creating this. Unfortunately this can't be done at the moment. Maybe, in the near future.

  Yes that is the .htaccess file. However whatever you add to it is entirely up to you, the script doesn't control it. Just make sure not to change the script's own rules from the file.
  
  For example if you add something to it and you get an error that's on the server level, there will be nothing that I can do to fix or debug that.

  Because the view-source: uses an different protocol, and it's cached to your browser specially. You could open the view-source page and press Ctrl+Shift+R couple of times to refresh the cache. Or simply visit your favicon URL and use Ctrl+Shift+R couple of times. It's not really an issue. If you go on and download another browser and check it it would just work fine. It's just cache at work, nothing else.

  -Not really true to say no API needed (free). Because after 100 search queries per day you have to connect google search API and you are billed 5$ per 1000 queries.

  - It is true to say that it doesn't require any API key. The API you're talking about is the Google CSE JSON API. Which requires billing after 100 searches. But the script uses Google Programmable Search's JavaScript API. Which doesn't have this limit. As everything is rendered on the client side.
  
  - This relates to your second question. Due to this API being free, it lacks the ability to such level of customization. Only CSS can be used to customize the elements.

  That's likely because your file manager ignored the .htaccess file, it can happen because cPanel filemanager by default has the option "Show hidden (dotfiles)" disabled. So, always make sure the .htaccess file is present at the root of the files (where index.php file is present). To solve this you can also visit https://yoursite.com/debug.php and it will attempt to regenerate the .htaccess file.
  
  If you have an .htaccess file already replace it's contents with the one that is present in the script.
  
  If doing all these doesn't solve your issue, I'd recommend you to re-install the item.

  Please provider your site URL. And 403 is a server level error, unless you have changed something or your server did something, the script can't automatically show such errors.

  Every other URL is working just fine. Unless you have changed something or something happened at your server side, this shouldn't happen by itself. As in the search page itself showing your hosting's 403 page, not the script's. The request is not even reaching the script for that page.
  
  
  Please try to replace the .htaccess file with the one at present at the script files. If that doesn't solve the issue, I'd recommend you to re install the script.

  Notice the added "/" that's what causing the issue. The script by default doesn't do this. So there must be some sort of rule defined by your hosting, cloudflare or .htaccess file. The script doesn't do this by itself. As you can see the demo, it's working just fine.

  1. The ads are showing because AdSense is enabled for that CSE Id. You can, a) hide those ads (there's an option for that in the dashboard) or b) Change the CSE Id altogether to your own.
  
  2. No, due to the restriction of the CSE, we must pass the search query using a query string.
  
  3. There's no option for that yet. But it can be done by by querying the search query table.
  
  4. No, currently I haven't found any free API to list similar searches, as soon as I find one, I will add it.
