  Like many other customers of this theme i've made some changes to the theme (CSS and templates). So my question is: How can i prevent my customizations from overwriting, when i update the theme with a new version. I know mybb has a parent-child-concept, but how does it works? What settings do I need to make so that my customizations are preserved when I update my theme?

  That is almost impossible in MyBB if you make changes withim Templates. If you are making cganges to CSS, than you should create your owm custom.css file and place it at last position.

  The theme was purchased long time ago by my boss, and I myself can't seem to have the option to send you a private message. I've been trying to fix the editor on my own, but made the matters bit worse.

  Hi I just purchased the theme and I have 2 questions.
  1. Is it possible to change the direction from LTR to RTL?
  2. The announcements are not moving, all of them are shown at the same time and just stay in place.

  I just bought this theme this morning and it's not working right. When you try to make a post, the post box has all kinds of blue boxes in it. I have no idea what's causing it.
  
  I would also like to get rid of the advertising. I've never seen a premium template sold with advertising in it.

  Hi, it is not advertising, it is just an example of advertising. You can easily remove it, just open Index Template and remove it.
  
  For postbox, vs you call it, go to Templates >> Ungrouped Templates >> codebuttons ... Options >> Revert to original.
