  Do you want show list of donors as a shortcode?
  With progress funding you can try use Give shortcode: https://givewp.com/documentation/core/shortcodes/give_goal/
  
  With show donor list you use Supporters & Contributer shortcodes, but i'll haven't amount of contribution. I will consider add this in future.

  I recommand you should create folder to install with no extra plugin, and just install theme and Petition plugin only.
  
  I just can support the bugs from theme and 6 month support for first setup. I can't support for the problems related with other plugins conflicts.

  You had delete theme folder FPT and upload a lot wrong folder. Please doesn't any thing on FTP when you don't really understand, you should search on google "how to..." before do any thing you want.
  
  When upgrade theme don't need upload via FPT, you can deactive theme then click detail and delete old theme

  then unzip codester file downloaded and take /theme/petition.zip and upload on Dashboard > Appearance > Theme > Upload

  No, theme doesn't required buying any third party plugin. But you need install main plugin is "Petition Plugin" included in downloaded file you purchased. and main recommand plugin is "Composer and Give" all plugin is free.

  New version has change prefix thumbnail so you need update thumbnail by way use Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to renew all image thumbnail.
